Parent Education & Nurturing Parenting Program
All CUPS Parenting Programs are currently offered in a virtual format to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
CUPS has free parent education programs, classes and activities that help caregivers build positive skills. Parents will learn about:
Brain development
Adverse Childhood Experiences & Resiliency
Empathy
Bonding and attachment
Discipline
Routines
Age appropriate expectations
Self-awareness
Understanding and expressing feelings
Self-care
Nurturing Parenting Programs
Community Drop-in Sessions
Mondays and Thursdays
Group setting with other parents.
Certificate of completion emailed to each parent after each session
18-week Program

Parent and Child interaction time

Facilitators will check in with each client at the beginning and end of program
Graduation ceremony and certificate
One-on-One Program
Ability to meet in person outdoors with physical distancing
Client will be paired with a Family Development Coach

Nurturing Parenting Program
For families with children ages 0-6. Join us for the 12-week program.
Dates: Tuesdays, September 12th - November 28th, 2023 (12 weeks)
Time: 10:30am - 2:30pm
Nurturing Parenting Program Workshops
Join us for 10 free drop-in sessions. For families with children ages 0-6.
Dates: Mondays, September 11th -November 27th, 2023 (10 weeks)
Time: 10:00am - 11:30am (Online)
Who is CUPS Parent Education for?
You must be a low-income earner with young children (0-6 years-old), and interesting in building your parenting skills and see improvement in knowledge of brain development, empathy, and increased bonding with your kids.
