CUPS Corner: Calgarians come together for our annual Christmas in January event!
What a blast!
On January 21, 2020, CUPS hosted our annual Christmas in January event for 500 vulnerable Calgarians looking for a warm meal on a cold evening.
Guests enjoyed perfectly roasted turkey, moist, flavourful stuffing and cranberry sauce — the perfect balance of tart and sweet. The meals were prepared by the incredible team from the Hyatt Regency Calgary, and as they do every year, a few members of the Calgary Stampeders came by to serve-up dinner with a spoonful of smiles, a generous serving and a side of fun.
The evening was incredible, and a great reminder of what amazing things can happen when a community comes together, there's plenty of food for all and smiles are shared all around. How lucky are we to live in such an amazing city!
