CUPS Housing

CUPS currently operates three housing programs: Key Case Management, Graduated Rent Program, and Community Development. CUPS adopts a housing first philosophy which provides housing stability to participants so that other causes of poverty in their lives can be focussed on. Learn More

CUPS Supports

CUPS Supports programs provide sustainability to struggling Calgarians. Supports programs prevent homelessness, provide crisis management, referrals, and educational bursaries. They also increase physical and mental health through nutritional education and help participants with filing their taxes. Learn More

Crisis Intervention Fund (CIF)

The client in transition program is a one- time help of $400 for first month’s rent, utility disconnection or eviction notices. This program is meant for individuals and families who have low income. This program does not help with unpaid or overdue rent. Learn More

Tax Assistance

Current taxes are required to apply for social assistance benefits. CUPS offers tax clinics to help complete taxes. Clinics are offered monthly throughout the year. In February, March and April, clinics are offered on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Learn More
