CUPS Health and Education Centres has an immediate employment opportunity for a Fund Development Specialist.
Reporting to the CUPS’ Director – Fund Development, this position will work collaboratively as a support role to the Fund Development team. The Fund Development Specialist will be involved in a variety of high-level planning activities within the Fund Development portfolio, including drafting donor stewardship reports and letters (thank you letters, donor recognition events, launches of initiatives, and donor acknowledgement of gifts to capital), financial reports and general communications. This position will also work in collaboration with CUPS Controller to coordinate the processing of donations and donor designations to support sound financial management. The successful candidate will possess a degree in a related field with a proven competency and success in the administrative aspect of fund development, marketing, and strategic business planning, and be results oriented. This individual will also possess excellent communication skills coupled with an ability and experience in writing/compiling presentations and proposals with strong computer proficiency including database management and experience in utilizing Raiser’s Edge accounting software.
